Description:
This event is intended to provide medical students with the fundamental principles in the assessment and management of hand and upper limb nerve injuries. The interactive lectures will cover relevant anatomy of the hand and the correct methodology in assessing a variety of hand and nerve injuries resulting from trauma. Relevant management options including the principles of surgical treatment will be covered. This event will be useful for students who are considering to pursue a career in plastic surgery, orthopaedic surgery and emergency medicine on completion of medical school.
