Description:

Taught by surgeons, this intensive clinical anatomy teaching session is intended to help first year medical students prepare for the human structure component of the exam. The half-day is structured to include the following:

  • Discussion and interpretation of clinical case scenarios
  • Applied anatomy of radiological images
  • Understanding and orientation of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Essential surface anatomy and dermatomes
  • Functional anatomy of clinically relevant muscles
  • Clinically relevant osteology


The teaching will end with a 60-min mock exam on the above topics that will include a short discussion session.
