Brief Description:

The Barts Neuroscience Symposium is a one day, student led symposium, bringing together both students and top academics from across the country, giving students the opportunity to present their work in the neurosciences and hear from some of the best researchers in the field. The aim of the Symposium is to inspire interest in neuroscience, to encourage interaction between students from different universities and disciplines and to promote student engagement in research. We achieve this by hosting pre-eminent speakers to discuss their inspirational and cutting-edge research, by holding a series of workshops, by staging a poster competition open to undergraduates and graduates at the beginning of their research careers and this year we have also introduced an essay competition.
