Description:
This intensive one-day revision course is specially tailored to assist final year medical students of Birmingham University prepare for their exam in April 2012. Taught by practicing surgeons and physicians, this course aims to consolidate the student's knowledge whilst addressing any weaknesses and provide a focused revision of pertinent surgical and medical topics. Numerous clinical scenarios will be discussed throughout the course that will be of relevance in the theory and OSCE component of the exam.
Important clinical examinations will be demonstrated.
Mock OSCE (written component):
There will be an optional 75-min mock exam at the end of the course that covers the written component of the exam. The candidates will be allowed to take their answers and answer sheets with them.
