Brief description:

The above conference is run under the auspices of MEDSIN, the largest student-run Global Health network in the UK. The work of MEDSIN is diverse but unified in vision. MEDSIN supports global campaigns, coordinates community projects, encourages debate about global health issues, and raises awareness about health inequality.

In this spirit of disseminating knowledge & enthusiasm to members, MEDSIN is holding this global health conference. The theme reflects ongoing shifts in the health of nations around the world and addresses the need for healthcare systems to continually adapt to provide wider, more effective coverage. It is envisaged that there will be enthusiastic debate and a diversity of opinions from an array of preeminent guest speakers including Sir Eldryd Parry, Nigel Crisp and Professor Parveen Kumar.
