Description: This unique one day course is aimed at providing medical students with an insight into all pertinent aspects of the colorectal cancer patient pathway: from symptoms, clinical diagnosis, diagnostic tests, treatment, through to follow up. They will be taught by a multi-professional team comprising of consultants from various related specialities, specialist nurses and other health care professionals. The course will also provide them with the opportunity to watch live endoscopy and sections of laparoscopic colorectal operations that will be broadcast to the auditorium.
