Course description:

Developed in 2012 by Professor P.N. Haray, this course aims to aid nurses and theatre staff to improve the recovery of patients and to reduce the length of time patients stay in hospital following surgery.

The course is divided into five topics which, when combined, target the same patient objective: to ensure that the recovery of each patient is as effective as possible. The selected areasinclude:
  • Pre- and Post-Operative Aspects of ERAS
  • Discharge Planning of ERAS
  • Minimal Invasive Surgery for Colorectal Cancer
  • Anaesthetics Consideration in ERAS
  • Patient Information DVD for ERAS
This unique course, which has recently become RCN accredited, combines the knowledge and experience of professionals from a variety of backgrounds and seeks to advance the recovery of patients, as well as help nursing and theatre staff to develop essential skills.

Course Fee:
£40 for non-Cwm-Taf staff
£20 for Cwm-Taf staff
