Following on from the previous successes of our conferences, Glasgow University Cardiovascular Society are delighted to announce our 4th Undergraduate Cardiology Symposium. Our aim is to provide undergraduate students a chance to broaden their knowledge and understanding in cardiology in both theory and practical skills. In this ever-changing specialty we have planned a morning of lectures by renowned doctors in the main fields of cardiology including congenital, interventional, surgery and heart failure. This will be followed by an afternoon of interactive seminars and practical skill workshops including ECG machines, fluid balance and cardiac presentations.

We invite anyone with an interest in cardiology to attend our event. The day will be run by specialist doctors and our student committee members and we aim to teach all years and all levels of previous experience.

We hope we will provide all with an educational and enjoyable environment for students’ interest in cardiovascular medicine to thrive.
