Prof.Harold Ellis, CBE MCh DM FRCS
Emeritus Professor of Anatomy, King’s College London

Prof. Ellis graduated from Oxford University in 1948, holding Resident appointments in Oxford, Sheffield, Northampton and London. He was Professor of Surgery at the University of London between 1962 and 1989. During these years, he was appointed Vice President of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), President of the British Association of Surgical Oncology and Vice President of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (1974-1986). He has also been a Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge and President of the British Association of Clinical Anatomists.

Prof. Ellis was awarded a CBE in 1987. He also hold numerous Honorary Degrees and Fellowships, from the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Obstetricians &Gynaecologists and the RSM to name a few.

He has over 26 Publications, and has also published quite a few textbook chapters and research papers on subjects related to surgery and clinical anatomy.Prof. Ellis is currently a Clinical Anatomist at the School of Biomedical Sciences, King's College, London – Guy's Campus.
Mr.Robert HWhitaker, MA MD MChir FRCS

Robert Whitaker spent his clinical career as a paediatric urological surgeon. Having retired from surgery, he now teaches clinically applied topographical anatomy to first-year medical students in Cambridge, UK. He also teaches clinically applied anatomy to surgical, radiological and other specialty trainees. He is a past examiner for the MRCS at the English and Edinburgh Colleges of Surgeons.
Professor VishyMahadevan, MBBS PhD FRCS
Professor of Surgical Anatomy, RCS

Professor Mahadevan is the Barbers’ Company Professor of Surgical Anatomy at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and heads the Anatomy teaching program at the College. He is a long-standing member of the Court of Examiners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and holds an honorary affiliation to the Academic Department of Surgery at the Royal Free Hospital, London.

A general surgeon and research scientist by background, Prof Vishy has written extensively on various aspects of surgical anatomy, and has lectured worldwide. He is co-author of Clinical Anatomy and a Section Editor of Gray's Anatomy. Prof Mahadevan has over 20 years of experience of teaching human anatomy and over the years has developed a unique, flamboyant style of teaching that has inspired generations of surgeons.
