The St George's Surgical Society International Conference

This year our one-day event will have four super-specialties (eight stations!) for delegates to rotate through. Using state-of-the-art equipment with leading consultants, this is a unique opportunity for students to fully immerse themselves and have a special insight into different career paths. .

The conference will work through common and emergency clinical scenarios for each of the specialties, providing teaching and a full work up of the patient, including the unique opportunity to practice hands-on practical procedures such as craniotomies, fracture fixation and echocardiography. Aims include inspiring students to pursue one of the careers, provide insight into work within the specialty and provide early exposure the skills and knowledge required to excel within the specialty
