Description and Aim

This one day conference is aimed at providing general practitioners and practicing hospital clinicians with an educational update on current trends in adult solid cancers. The wide spectrum of topics covered will provide the attendee with a sound understanding of the advances in the management of common adult cancers pertinent to their practice. There will be a session for oral and poster presentations for medical students and junior clinicians. There will also be updates on the current issues in the NHS and discussion on training issues for international healthcare graduates.

Fee

The event is free to attend, but a refundable deposit (£15.00 for Members and Junior Doctors; £25.00 for Non-Members) is required to reserve your place.

Instructions for submission of oral and poster presentation:

Abstracts can be sent by any junior doctor in training and non-training posts, and the topic needs to be on adult cancers. Please send abstracts in the format of (Background, Aim, Methods, Results and Conclusions). The maximum word count is 350. Submission is open now and closing date is 3rd June 2016. Three best abstracts will be selected for oral presentation and rest will be selected as posters for lunch time review by all. For oral presentation, 6 minutes is for presentation and 2 minutes for Q & A. There will be prizes for the best oral presentation and the best poster.
