About:

This one-day course will be delivered by experienced vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, and vascular sonographers, providing delegates with an insight into the principles of ultrasound and its application in clinical practice. A series of short talks will be held in the morning, and a variety of practical sessions will take place in the afternoon. Delegates will be supported to conduct Doppler and Duplex assessments on volunteers and real patients to develop their understanding of arteriovenous fistula planning, venous intervention planning for varicose veins, and arterial waveforms and their interpretation in small groups of four, obtaining ample hands-on practice.
