Preparation Course for Online Dental School Interviews

Saturday 6th December 2025 (0930 – 1245 hours)
Saturday 3rd January 2026 (0930 – 1245 hours)

Online Course Held Via Zoom

About

This half-day preparation course is designed for applicants preparing for virtual Multiple Mini Interviews in dental schools across the UK. It will cover all major themes that appear in UK dental school interviews including ethics, professionalism, communication skills, safeguarding, teamwork, and reflective practice. Dental-specific topics such as dental caries, paediatric oral health, periodontal disease, oral health inequalities, dental trauma, oral hygiene counselling, and prevention strategies are also included. Scenarios are built from realistic prompts, allowing applicants to practise for a wide variety of questions.

A high tutor-to-delegate ratio will ensure that each student receives personalised guidance. Delegates complete live mock stations and receive verbal feedback including model answers, strengths, and areas to improve. The course will also teach applicants how to apply the GDC Standards for the Dental Team, communicate sensitively with patients and parents, and reflect on challenges within modern dentistry. Current issues such as access to NHS dentistry, the rise in childhood decay, and variations in oral health outcomes are explored through structured interview stations.

The course will simultaneously teach virtual interview skills such as camera positioning, lighting, sound, posture, and online professionalism. It complements the highly regarded in-person Doctors Academy dental school interview preparation course, and it is designed for applicants who wish to obtain structured practice and detailed, examiner-style feedback before their interviews.
