About:
Despite significant scientific developments and technological advances, treatment of colorectal cancers continues to remain a challenge for clinicians. A sound understanding of the pathologies and principles is required when managing complex colorectal conditions. This lecture, delivered by Consultant Laparoscopic, Colorectal and Robotic Surgeon Mr C Selvasekar from the globally acclaimed and reputed Christie Hospital in Manchester, is intended to address the current developments and novel advances in this field. The Christie is the only centre in the UK offering laparoscopic cytoreductive surgery and heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy for suitable patients.
