The University of East Anglia’s Cardiology Society presents its first East of England Undergraduate Cardiology & Cardiothoracic Surgery Conference. The conference will take place on Saturday 12th January 2019 in the Thomas Paine Study Centre on the UEA campus. This event intends to cultivate interest in the specialty and the training pathway, as well as promote current research in cardiology from the East Anglia region and further afield.

Aims and Objectives

  • Explore careers in Cardiology with a focus on women in Cardiology, along with tips for boosting your portfolio
  • Excite students with fun and interactive workshops to help invigorate interest in the specialty
  • Provide opportunities for students to network with local Cardiologists, including the opportunity to have their research appraised
  • Discover new areas of cardiology and the future of Cardiology as a specialty
