Climate change is one of the biggest threats to humanity; a four-degree increase in temperature will result in the displacement of 760 million people due to the rising of sea levels. Other catastrophic effects, if not addressed in time, could include water shortage, crop failure, extreme weather, biodiversity loss, and desertification.

From a field worker’s experience to policymakers’ standpoint, Friends of MSF’s Sustainability and Climate Change Conference aims to address how climate change will affect humanitarian aid. With a focus on advocacy and climate migration, this conference aims to discuss how students can become more involved.
To bring together humanitarians, policymakers, scientists, and researchers to exchange and share knowledge concerning sustainability in the humanitarian aid field.
To place an emphasis on research, climate migration and advocacy.
