about
The University of Glasgow Medical Research Society is delighted to announce its 8th National Conference.
The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for delegates to discover the many aspects of medical research through a series of talks and workshops. The event will enable delegates to network with fellow academic-minded students and doctors. It is also an opportunity for those interested in presenting their own research to a national audience.
Following the success of previous years, the conference will consist of a variety of lectures from leading clinical academics. The event will include a number of workshops focused on introducing and building the skills necessary for a career in research.
Several workshops will take place during the afternoon. Delegates will be able to attend each of the following workshops:
Developing an Academic CV; How to Present a Research Paper/Project; Guide to Literature Reviews; Guide to Audits
Oral Presentation and Poster Competition
All delegates are invited to submit an abstract. The successful submissions will be given the opportunity to present at the conference.
