Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a history of producing excellent international conferences. One such example includes the Advances and Controversies in Reconstructive Microsurgery Conference held in 2014 and 2016.
The Trust would like to continue provoking interest and discussion within the complex area of Reconstructive Microsurgery at the Norfolk and Norwich Virtual Microsurgical Conference. The Trust has brought together a prestigious group of national and international faculty to share their knowledge and experience while discussing advances within the field.
The challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic within the sub-specialty will be explored while considering how to ensure the specialty continues to advance. Information regarding the latest global research in microsurgery will also be addressed.
The virtual conference will be held over two days on the 12th and 13th of November 2020. This virtual conference will be of excellent academic benefit to regional, national, and international trainees, all of whom are welcome to attend. The Trust will encourage involvement and questioning from colleagues and trainees throughout the day via the interactive Zoom platform.
