Following the success of the 2017 event, the next South West Orthopaedic Conference will take place on 17th March 2018.
The conference aims to further an understanding of and enthusiasm towards Orthopaedic Surgery in aspiring surgeons through a series of inspirational career development lectures, as well as practical, hands-on workshops.
The day will be divided into two distinct sections. The morning will consist of lectures from various orthopaedic surgeons, while the afternoon will comprise of workshops which will give delegates the opportunity to practice their skills in hip replacement, surgical fixation, and basic suturing.
Organised by a dedicated group of medical students, orthopaedic trainees and consultants, the conference has been specifically tailored to meet the learning objectives of medical students and foundation doctors.
