About

This conference aims to encourage medical students to consider plastic surgery as a specialty by providing exposure and insight into the field. In addition, it hopes to enlighten delegates about its breadth of subspecialties, providing an introduction into areas such as breast reconstruction and soft tissue sarcomas.

The morning session will include talks by various plastic surgeons from across the South West. Delegates will learn about the fundamentals underpinning plastic surgery, as well as hear about plastic surgeons’ pathways and day-today work.

The afternoon session will include four hands-on surgical workshops: tendon repair, skin flaps, suturing, and CV building.
