Course Description:
This one day course is aimed at Stoma Care and Colorectal Nurses currently providing
care for patients with colorectal cancer and stomas. It is designed to cover all
aspects of the Colorectal Cancer Patient Pathway taking the delegate through the
referral processes, diagnostic investigations, treatment modalities, aftercare and
follow up.
The course convened by the highly acclaimed Consultant Colorectal Surgeon, Prof.
PN. Haray, and supported by a multi-professional faculty, includes live links to
the Endoscopy Unit and Main Operating Theatre. In addition to the live links, there
will be structured presentations covering various aspects of the Colorectal Cancer
Pathway, giving plenty of opportunity to interact with the faculty.
