About

The neurological societies of Liverpool University, Manchester University and Newcastle University will hold the 1st National Northern England Student NeuroConference on Saturday 19th November 2022.

The conference will discuss a range of topics within the specialties of neurology and neurosurgery, with a consideration of both paediatrics and adults.

A number of international speakers will discuss their interests in the specialty and the cutting-edge research in which they are involved.

A range of workshops will be conducted to enable delegates to practice essential skills, perform clinical examinations, and take history.

This conference will support the Brain Charity, and all proceeds will be given to the Charity. A raffle will also be held to raise further funds for the Charity.

Abstract Submission

Delegates are invited to submit an abstract for this conference. Each abstract must not exceed 250 words.

The topic must be related to neuroscience, and one presenter is permitted. If accepted oral and poster presenters must register and be present to attend the conference.

Submissions should be structured, with four labelled paragraphs containing the following:

  • Background
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
The title, details of the authors, acknowledgments and references do not contribute to the word count.

Abstracts should be submitted to neurology@society.liverpoolguild.org with the email subject “Conference Poster Competition”. The deadline for abstract submission is 23:59 hours on 24th October 2022..
