  2. Doctors Academy is currently collaborating with the reputed A. B. Eye Institute in Bihar, India (http://www.abei.eyemd.org). The aim of this collaboration is to facilitate exchange and observer programmes for medical students and doctors from developed nations interested in ophthalmology to increase their exposure to a variety of ophthalmological conditions and disorders in North India. Fully trained ophthalmologists from developed nations can take this opportunity to transfer/impart their knowledge and skills to the professionals working in this institute as well as learn novel and advanced techniques from the senior ophthalmologists working at the institute.

The A. B. Eye Institute has established the reputation as the centre for excellence in eye care in Bihar, India. This coupled with the institute’s philosophy for social justice and charity-oriented service has made it an ideal partner for Doctors Academy to fulfil one of its aims – vision for the global poor by 2020.
